Requester guide

Request survey work and stay in the loop.

Your workspace contains requests submitted with your account email. Use the map for location, the list for scanning, and Inbox for changes that need attention.

Create a request

Give the team a clear starting point.

  1. Choose New Request

Start from New Request or the blue New Request button on the Requests map.

  2. Mark the survey area

Draw the boundary on the map. Keep it close to the actual work area so the survey team can understand the location.

  3. Describe the work

Choose the survey type, required date, work zone, and add the information the survey team will need. Setout work needs setout details.

  4. Review and submit

Check the boundary and details before submitting. SurveyFlow gives the request an SRV number—use that number in conversations and issue reports.

01

Follow progress

Open Requests, search by SRV number or description, and use the status badge to see where the request sits.

02

Reply to clarification

When the manager asks for more information, open the Inbox item, answer the question, and resubmit the request.

03

Keep comments together

Add comments on the request itself. Everyone involved sees the conversation attached to the same work item.
