FAQ

Common SurveyFlow questions.

Is SurveyFlow a GIS platform?

No. SurveyFlow uses map context for requests and operations, but it is not a WebGIS host or raster processing platform.

Where do final deliverables live?

Final deliverables are stored externally and linked from closeout. SurveyFlow tracks the workflow around the job.

Can it support field photos?

Yes. Users can add request-context photos and PDFs. Final deliverables remain linked from their external source.

What happens when field work is put on hold?

The reason, review date and activity remain visible. When work resumes, the team records what changed and decides how the hold affects dates.

Does SurveyFlow need a native mobile app?

No. SurveyFlow includes browser-based mobile field intake and role-specific map and job views.

Can managers report on programme demand?

Yes. Operations, Capacity and Insights cover current demand, assignments, overdue work, holds, completion and drill-down to individual requests.

Where should a new team member start?

Open the five-minute quick guide, then use the role guide that matches the work you do in SurveyFlow.
